The time has passed when a carriage on rumbling rails was pulled up a mountain by rope. Today, a funicular car is a highly complex system closely connected with the drive controls. Until recently, functions have been monitored mechanically, today these functions are monitored electronically thus the safety functions, whilst more secure, have become much more complex.
In 2002 we were selected to renew the whole electrical system for the Davos-Parsenn funicular
